Cecilia Rivas Aragón is a Mexican entrepreneur who has been living in Europe for six years. She got a certification for teaching Spanish as a foreign language from the International House institute (validation from Instituto Cervantes) in Cologne. Cecilia has been teaching Spanish as a second language since five years, first three years in Germany and since two and a half year here in The Netherlands.
Before moving to Europe, she worked for nine years as a teacher for 6-7 year old children in a school in Mexico. Cecilia has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, but for many years she has been out of this field, mainly because she’s been living the expat life due to her husband’s work in the US, Germany and the Netherlands.
Cecilia established her own company ARAGON Spanish Lessons since September 2016 and opened an office at the historical Ursulinen Convent in Eijsden. She teaches Spanish to multiple students interested in this beautiful language, which is spoken in more than seventeen countries by around 600 million people.
Are you enthusiastic about learning a second or third language, and like the added bonus of visiting the beautiful old convent in Eijsden before or after class? You can enjoy some coffee at the Museumcafé, take a stroll around the neighborhood, or have tapas at one of the many terraces down by the river Meuse and practice your new Spanish sentences or words: será muy divertido!
